For Thai SMEs Serving International Tourists

Get paid by tourists in their currency, their app — no MDR, no POS terminal.

Every tourist who walks into your shop or lands on your website already has a payment app on their phone — PayNow, DuitNow, Alipay, UPI, Open Banking. DSGPay lets you accept it directly, in-store or online, and settles the baht to your Thai bank account in as fast as T+2 working days.

The problem with cards

Card acceptance is the biggest hidden cost in serving tourists

You already pay for every card swipe — you just don't always see the full bill. DSGPay's tourist-collection product is built to compete directly with that cost, not sit alongside it.
Card acceptance today
  • MDR of ~2–3.5%
Deducted from every sale, on top of any bank fees
  • POS terminal costs
Rental, purchase, or per-outlet hardware you have to maintain
  • Card-network FX markup
Buried in the exchange rate the tourist never sees, and you don't control
  • Multi-day settlement
Often longer for cross-border card acquiring
  • Chargebacks and disputes
That sit against you as the merchant of record
DSGPay tourist collection
  • No card-scheme MDR
A transparent DSGPay fee replaces the card discount rate
  • No POS terminal required
Collect in-store from the DSGPay Thailand DMA app on a phone or tablet you already own
  • Cheaper FX
Built for volume, not a one-off retail card conversion
  • Settled in as fast as T+2 working days
Maximum commitment, to your existing Thai bank account
  • Bank-rail payments
Initiated and confirmed by the tourist's own bank or app — not a card dispute exposure
How it works

Two ways to collect. One settlement, in baht, to your account.

Whether the tourist is standing in front of you or checking out on your website, they pay with the payment method they already use at home — you don't have to know what PayNow or DuitNow is to accept it.

A. Face-to-face — DSGPay Thailand DMA

In-store
Open the DSGPay Thailand mobile app, enter the amount in baht, and show the tourist the QR code or payment request. They pay from their own banking or wallet app, in their own currency — no terminal, no card machine, no monthly rental. Works on any smartphone or tablet behind your counter.

B. Online — Plugins & Widgets

E-commerce
Add a DSGPay checkout plugin or embeddable widget to your website. At checkout, the customer automatically sees the local payment method for their country of card issuance or IP — Open Banking for a German visitor, PayID for an Australian, UPI for an Indian traveller booking a tour before they've even landed.

Why it matters for your shop

Built for how a Thai SME actually takes payment

No upfront cost

No terminal to buy or rent, no card-machine deposit. Start accepting tourist payments from a phone you already have.

Simple daily reconciliation

Every sale is matched automatically in the app — no end-of-day card batch to chase or manually tally against your till.

Keep more of every sale

Without a card MDR eating 2–3.5% of every transaction, more of what the tourist pays stays with you.

No local entity needed by the tourist

The tourist pays from an app they already trust — no currency exchange booth, no cash withdrawal, no card decline surprises.
Made for your business, not enterprise IT

What "SME-ready" means in practice

Single outlet or a handful of locations

Set up in a day, run from a phone

  • Onboarding:
a single application and KYC process — no per-outlet paperwork.
  • Hardware:
none required. The DSGPay Thailand DMA app runs on any smartphone or tablet your staff already use.
  • Website:
if you sell tours, treatments, or products online, drop in the plugin or widget without a developer team — most builders (Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce, and similar) are supported.
  • Settlement:
baht lands in your existing Thai bank account, maximum T+2 working days, with a clear daily summary — no separate FX desk or treasury function needed.
  • Support:
Thai and English-language support, sized for a business that doesn't have a dedicated finance or payments team.
